PRODIGY PARTNERS

University of South Florida School of Social Work
The University of South Florida’s School of Social Work has partnered with the Prodigy program since 2003 in order to provide ongoing research.  The purpose of the research is to determine the impact of the Prodigy program on youth behavior, attitudes, skills and family function. Data collected from youth consistently reveal significant positive findings. The School of Social Work also has provided assistance in Prodigy’s efforts to become recognized as an evidence-based program.

Bay Area Youth Services
Bay Area Youth Services (BAYS) has been a Prodigy partner since 2003. Professional staff at BAYS perform a comprehensive initial assessment of each diversion youth’s needs. Prodigy and BAYS partner together in order to offer a diversion youth and his/her family case management services as well as an effective alternative program to juvenile detention facilities. The Prodigy diversion program successfully integrates prevention and diversion students into the classroom, where peer interaction reinforces positive behavior for diversion and intervention youth.
